3 Bad Teams

I don't know how good the Pack is yet. I do know that there are at least 3 bad teams in the NFL right now. The Browns, Bills, and Cardinals will all probably have "not-so-good-years". The Packers' offensive and defensive starters rolled through them like the 2007 Pats. ARodge has been out of his mind, and this Dom Capers' 3-4 D has only been making plays. If they're still doing this at the end of October, I'll be a believer.

Brent Favre can do whatever he wants

Seriously. He wanted to play, just not go to training camp. No worries. He loves football more than anything, leave him be.
I wish him well, just not the 2 times this year the Vikings play the Packers. There is no I in team, and TT made the decision last year to put the pack above Favre. Both were definitely wrong, so here we are. Favre wasn't quite sure, and that's ok. TT had to look at the Pack today and tomorrow. I don't blame either.
It's too early to tell how good or bad the Pack will be. I thought they were alright last year, and they ended up a pathetic 6-10.

Brett Favre, Brett Favre, Brett Favre

If Brett Favre wants to come back and play for the Vikings, then he definitely should.  He's earned the right to do whatever he wants.
Common theory is the Vikings are a legit QB from the Super Bowl.  Then they go out and trade for Sage Rosenfels to compete with Tavaris Jackson to start.  I think Jackson could be good in a few years, but we know Rosenfels sucks.  I put their Madden combo averages to about 82, and I'm being generous.  I figure a healthy Favre is a 90, plus what he could add to the locker room.  Either or, I think it's possible they could win 12-13 games next year.
